Grandparents' Visit & House Update

We had a great Memorial Day Weekend! Brian's parents came to visit us here in CO for the first time so we got to show them around. We took them out to the house- we have windows now! Annette & I (Andi) even did some baby shopping, much to Terry's chagrin. :-)

So unfortunately, our camera has bitten the dust. It's not exactly the best timing since we're putting all we can into our down payment on the house due in August. I'm trying to figure out how to get some pics up on the blog so in the meantime, I'll entertain you with a pic of the bedding we've gotten for Sophia's room...enjoy!

House Update

We have a roof!!! No pics yet, b/c we're having technical difficulties, but we went out there today. The first & second floors are up and the roof is on- yay!!!

Visit to Kansas City

Made a trip to KC this past weekend for my baby shower- what a blast! I have definitely adjusted to the dry weather in Colorado. I had almost forgotten how humid KC was- and then I spent a weekend drenched in sweat! I'm hoping being prego this summer won't be miserable!

My wonderful girlfriends hosted my baby shower- I love them! I also got to see my nieces & nephew so that was nice. Brian's sister even made it town so that made it even more special. Spent my first Mother's Day with my mom and sister. I'll be posting pics soon!

Oh, and Brian's eyes started to glaze over as I showed him all the little toys and baby goodies our generous guests had brought...poor guy...

House Update- May 6th

Went to see the house today- first floor walls are up- yay! We also met some of our neighbors- there are lots of kids on our street and young couples. They get together and have block parties all the time! Suburbia USA, here we come!!! (Click here for more pics.)
