Sophia is sitting somewhat, great on her tummy, on her back, and will make a 360 degrees turn all on her stomach. No crawling yet. She still likes to flail her arms around so she won't hold herself standing yet unless I can get something for her to focus on- she's more interested in her environment than what she's doing. She loves her exersaucer- makes me wonder if she'll walk before crawling- yikes!
We're still nursing- yay! but supplementing with formula when needed at daycare twice a week. We're also cloth diapering 5 days a week, which I am so proud of b/c I swore to myself it was more work than it was worth- I was wrong! Sophia's also eating home-pureed bananas, peaches, avacado, sweet potatoes, squash, butternut squash, and sucking on orange slices. We don't plan on introducing rice cereal but will introduce her to whole grain oatmeal around 9 mos or so. I also thought about giving her some egg yolk soon.
She's gotten all her vaccinations so far including the flu shot but won't get the chicken pox vacc when it's time or continue with anymore Hep B shots if she needs more.
Sophia comes with me to a stroller class at the local gym 3 days a week where she gets a 30 minute ride then hangs out with the other kids; she also takes a free music/reading class at the library, and of course Mommy & Me Yoga at my studio- she's a very social little girl! She's also been sleeping through the night since 2 months for the most part but isn't a great napper unless we're riding in the car.
I'm estimating she's about 14 lbs since she was 13lbs 7oz at 6 mos- she's our little potato!
