Question...

Does anyone know (moms & nurses specifically) if you can have Braxton-Hicks contractions in your back at 32 weeks? Everything I've read about back labor is for those actually going into labor and I'm not. But I'm experiencing some horrific cramps & aches in my back and sides. I think it might be mixed with some kidney stuff too though. Any thoughts?

I mostly had braxton hicks in my back and radiating forward. Not sure if it is unusual or not for it to happen that way. Some days it got extremely painful.

If you can count and time them and they are regular and getting closer together, I would call the doctor. Actually, even if you're just concerned, call the doctor so you don't worry.

Good luck...I envy those women who have "beautiful" pregnancies. I found it to be a rather icky process. LOL.

Thanks Sharaze. Yesterday was rough- I just can't seem to understand why back contractions hurt more than the regular. This child better cure cancer or do something profound...

Yikes, Aug 12th! Although I'm really ready for her now, how about we say Aug 17th? That's the day I'll be done teaching at the studio and Brian will stop traveling...
